Wills/Estates Legal Assistant

Job No. 5001 / Fraser Valley / LAA

Our client, a prominent law firm located in the Fraser Valley, is looking for a detailed and organized candidate for their newly available LAA position. This role calls for an individual who is keen to broaden their knowledge and experience base. You will join a great team of professionals and a great work environment.

Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Editing and formatting legal documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements
  • Online registry searches
  • Calendar management
  • Preparing bills
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a an LAA with some experience with wills/estates.
  • LAA certificate from accredited institution
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and in a group
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
