Family Law Associate

Our client is searching for an outgoing and results-driven lawyer to join their seasoned team of professionals. This newly created role for an Associate is the perfect way to cement your career in a professional, team environment. You will be mentored by some of the best Partners and Senior Associates in the firm as well as given an opportunity to manage your own files and develop your own practice. This firm is a full-service law firm who prides themselves on their dedication and loyalty to their clients.

Job responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding family law matters
• Advocate for clients in court and ADR
• Collaborate with other co-workers to meet the needs of the clients

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general family law
• Law degree from an accredited Canadian Law school and must be a member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Confident at engaging and interacting with clients.

Salary range: $115,000- $145,000 dependent on experience
