Litigation Legal Assistant

Job No. 5000 / Fraser Valley / LAA

Our client, a boutique litigation firm located in Fraser Valley is actively seeking a Litigation LAA. This role calls for an individual who is keen to broaden their knowledge and experience base. You will join a great team of professionals and a great work environment. The lawyers in this group practice a variety of areas of litigation so it is a chance to try some new areas of litigation.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting of correspondence and legal documents
  • Scheduling examinations for discovery, trials and hearings
  • Prepare, file and manage documents for courts and tribunals
  • Providing administrative support to lawyers and other assistants
  • Other duties to be determined

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Litigation LAA
  • LAA certificate from accredited institution
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work well independently and in a group
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
