Litigation Legal Assistant
Job No. 5000 / Fraser Valley / LAA
Our client, a boutique litigation firm located in Fraser Valley is actively seeking a Litigation LAA. This role calls for an individual who is keen to broaden their knowledge and experience base. You will join a great team of professionals and a great work environment. The lawyers in this group practice a variety of areas of litigation so it is a chance to try some new areas of litigation.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Drafting of correspondence and legal documents
- Scheduling examinations for discovery, trials and hearings
- Prepare, file and manage documents for courts and tribunals
- Providing administrative support to lawyers and other assistants
- Other duties to be determined
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Litigation LAA
- LAA certificate from accredited institution
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and in a group
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
