A well-established, group of mining companies is seeking a professional Corporate Secretary to join their team of established professionals. This role will give the successful applicant, who is able to provide corporate compliance, regulatory and securities services to an array of companies.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide confidential corporate compliance, regulatory and securities services
  • All aspects relating to corporate compliance
  • Assist in drafting all literature associated with proxy materials, regulatory documents, private placement documents
  • Arrange, facilitate and coordinate Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings
  • Preparation and issuance of stock transfers and dividends
  • Communicate with Officers, Directors, Auditors, Lawyers, Financial Representatives, Federal and Provincial agents on various compliance and corporate governance issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as a Corporate Secretary and/or Securities Paralegal
  • Related industry experience
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook skill set
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure
  • High level of organization, communication and professionalism
