Junior Litigation Legal Assistant!

A well-known litigation law firm in the downtown core is looking for a legal assistant to grow into their newly available role. A very busy practice, this is a great opportunity to get training and experience in one of the most recognized firms in the city. If you are interested in expanding your legal experience this is the perfect role to boost your career.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience as an LAA in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and excellent organizational skills
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a great team player

Responsibilities:

  • Opening, maintaining and closing files
  • Processing of billing and time entry
  • Managing BF system
  • Document editing and preparation
  • Other duties as required by Lawyer
