IT Trainer: Award Winning Downtown Law Firm

Work for one of Canada’s top-ranked national law firms! They are looking for an outgoing and ambitious candidate to fill their newly available role for an IT Trainer. Reporting directly to the IT Manager the Trainer will be responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering technology training to the Lawyers and staff of the firm, as well as for rollouts of new or upgraded technology. In addition, the Trainer will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the software training curriculum and documentation for the firm.

Further duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the testing and supporting of new initiatives/projects that involve the upgrade or deployment of software applications.
  • Be the first post of contact for escalated support calls that relate to troubleshooting and resolving staff/lawyers software issues.
  • Collect data and information regarding user experiences, training effectiveness and challenges in order to improve upon user productivity.

The successful applicant will have a minimum 3 years’ experience developing and delivering application software training and must have experience in professional services, ideally a law firm. As it exemplary communication skills and attention to detail in ones work. Salary and benefits offered by the firm are highly competitive.
