Exceptional Vancouver Law Firm seeking Accounting Clerk

Our client, a highly respected law firm in Vancouver, is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their accounting department. This position is perfect for an Accounting Assistant/Clerk who is looking to take the next step in his or her career. Working as an integral part of the Accounting Department, under the direction of the Accounting Manager, you will assist with the following:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Editing and proofing billing statements
  • Reconciliations
  • Assisting with collections and the daily bank run
  • As well as some accounting administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2+ years’ experience in accounting, ideally in a law firm setting, and be motivated, personable and detail oriented.  A graduate from a recognized accounting related course is desirable but not essential. Personality fit is very important in this role, you must be energetic, positive, proactive, and have excellent communication skills.
