Our client, a highly esteemed Vancouver law firm, is actively seeking a professional and career-minded Director of Finance to join their management team. This company employs some of the most dynamic, passionate and professional individuals you’ll ever meet; people who truly love what they do and care about the organization. As the chosen candidate, you will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, an eye for detail, as well as excellent communication skills.


  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting paired with previous leadership experience.
  • Accountant designation (CPA or CA preferred).
  • Experience in a professional services environment such as engineering, law or accounting will be considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Experience with Aderant (or Elite) will be considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • General accounting and tax duties for multiple law firm offices.
  • Manage and provide leadership to the firm on financial issues.
  • Work with Management in helping to create strategic plans for firm.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm’s Articles of Partnership
  • Oversee A/P, A/R, Payroll, general accounting and Trust accounting
