A well-established, publicly traded resource company is seeking a professional Assistant Corporate Secretary to join their team of established professionals. This role will give the successful applicant, who is able to provide corporate compliance, regulatory and securities services to the company and its subsidiaries.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide confidential corporate compliance, regulatory and securities services
  • Assist in drafting all literature associated with proxy materials, regulatory documents, private placement documents
  • Arrange, facilitate and coordinate Board, Committee and Shareholder meetings
  • Calculation of share capital and share based compensation
  • Communicate with Officers, Directors, Auditors, Lawyers, Financial Representatives, Federal and Provincial agents on various compliance and corporate governance issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a similar role such as Assistant Corporate Secretary or Securities Paralegal
  • Related industry experience
  • Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook skill set. Knowledge of ALF or similar software a strong asset
  • Ability to work on multiple projects under pressure
  • High level of organization, communication and professionalism
