This newly available role for an Administrator/IT Help Desk Specialist is the perfect opportunity to join well-known national firm. We are seeking an individual who thrives in a high-energy environment who works well independently as well as within a team.

Standard duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide end-users with hardware/software support
  • Ensure that problems are addressed in a timely fashion
  • Assist the Manager with projects and tasks as required
  • Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties
  • Evaluate and analyze Help Desk support calls for recurring problems and identify solutions
  • Other duties as required by the Manager

Under the direction of the IT Manager, the IT Support Specialist will respond to requests for technical support on a variety of issues from end-users and provide effective and timely response.

The successful applicant will ideally have have a minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in an IT role, as well as, a minimum 2-year diploma in Technology or related discipline. The successful applicant also needs excellent communication, time management skills, and proficiency with local area networks (Ethernet), protocol (TCP/IP), data cabling, telecommunication services, data communications for video conferencing
