I have to agree with you. Focusing yourself only on Workopolis is a mistake. You're going to have a low success rate and you're limiting yourself from a small to no chance of job opportunities. Based on my experience, posting on one job site made me miss out on a lot of great job offers. Workopolis and those job sites that have employers who only hire locally sound like the ideal site to go to. But you would realize eventually that you won't immediately get employed. So, I suggest that you also post on some other freelance sites like staff.com, vworker and odesk.com.
